The Birth of Heart 2 Heart
Empowering women to live their lives in purpose, on purpose fearlessly
The birth of Heart 2 Heart Connections (H2H Connect)…I can recall being in a very challenging place in my life in 2004, with 2 small children and no knowledge of what I was going to do with my life. I was working a minimal wage job, trying to survive in the inner city, and trying to make it happen. Recently divorced, I struggled emotionally, spiritually and physically, with very limited resources. Of course there were resources out there however, being judged and treated unfairly made it difficult for me to receive the support.
Looking back I can honestly say the struggle has been real , and can occasionally present itself in day to day life. With the help of Lord and connecting with some awesome women of God, who were committed to my success I was able to overcome many of the struggles, discover my God given purpose, and reach back for others still stuck in the “struggle.” I believe there are other women out there that share similar experiences. Feeling lost in the shuffle and overwhelmed with the cares of this life, and simply stuck!
H2H Connect is geared towards making life changing “connections” with everyday women in order to bring healing, knowledge, and tangible tools to their lives. We encourage, equip and empower them to move forward in their purpose while living on Purpose in their community!
Meet the Founder
Hey, I’m Toni Wynette
I am a psychiatric case manager, community counselor, and minister. I am the proud Director of Heart 2 Heart Connections.
I work with women in the urban community of all ages, races, and socioeconomic backgrounds. With every woman I encounter, I long to make wholistic connections with them in order to bring healing, knowledge, tools and resources for purposeful living to their lives.
I love encouraging and empowering women to live their lives in purpose, intentionally on purpose. Especially when they can’t figure out what they are called to do in life, I am totally ready to help them discover who they are and what they are called to do.
My ultimate goal is to help women heal and attain knowledge to live a purpose- filled life and become valuable contributors to their community through life coaching, individual counseling, small groups, and mind building workshops.
I desperately want to guide women through difficult or challenging circumstances, while inspiring them to live intentionally with no regrets.
Through paralled life experiences and genuine love, I yearn to give knowledge and bring life to each person we encounter heart to heart.

And when I’m not facilitating a workshop, hosting an event, or visiting with a client in the community, I can be found drinking a hot cup of relaxing tea, reading a good book, or taking a nice brisk walk. I have three beautiful daughters: Genesis, Zoe, and Amazing Grace and I am the proud puppy mom of Luna. I’ve been known to do some burning in the kitchen as well. I enjoy baking all sorts of desserts; although I won’t eat any of them because I’m attempting to get my school girl figure back…LOL! Truthfully, I have 2 favorite time pass…singing all kinds of music and writing stories.
If you’re dying to know more, here are 5 things you don’t know about me…
- I was born to be a stand-up comedian; however my kids say my jokes are corny.
- It’s on my bucket list to sing in a band, all genres of music.
- I was the double-dutch queen!
- Eventually when I reach my weight loss goal, I will run in a marathon.
- I want to travel to London, rent a small, cozy chateau, sit by the window sipping tea, and write an amazing love story.
